Sustainability is the new buzzword today. Most of the people think it means to adopt newer green technologies which offer reduced carbon footprint or change your end products to the ones which reduce over exploitation of natural resources available on the planet. The thought may be noble but it calls for new large investments.

The fact of the matter is sustainability can also be achieved by reducing wastages, recycling resources, and improving productivity as all these efforts lead to optimal usage of inputs. This reduces the input costs thereby improving the profit margins.
